We Use State-of-the-Art Digital X-Rays to Diagnose Your Pet

Our veterinary team is very fortunate to have a state-of-the-art digital x-ray machine. This allows us to quickly diagnose problems associated with bones, joints, heart, and lungs, as well as the abdominal organs. Once the images are obtained, our veterinarians will review them and use the results to aid in making a diagnosis. If your pet requires more information, we also offer surgical and ultrasound services.

What Can an X-Ray Identify?

X-ray technology is one of the most beneficial advancements in human history. It allows doctors to see straight through tissue to examine bones and can even be modified to allow doctors to look at organs and blood vessels. The same applies to veterinary medicine. Veterinarians rely on x-rays to see inside a pet’s body to identify any number of illnesses or injuries.

Our in-house digital x-ray machine can identify many different medical conditions in pets. This includes:

  • Tumors
  • Deformities
  • Infections
  • Dental disease
  • Bladder stones
  • Soft tissue damage
  • Fractured and broken bones
  • Fluid in the lungs (pulmonary edema)
  • Foreign objects that have been swallowed

If your pet has been injured or is experiencing health problems, an x-ray can help our veterinarians determine what is going on and how to proceed with treatment. Because we handle x-rays in our hospital, you don’t have to worry about going somewhere else to get the answers you need.
