Veterinarian in Media PA

Dr. Deborah Brzezinski

Dr. Deborah Brzezinski is the chief medical officer of Aston Veterinary Hospital. She started working as an associate veterinarian at the hospital in 1983. She obtained her undergraduate degree in biology from the University of Pennsylvania and her veterinary degree from Kansas State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 1982. Dr. Brzezinski also has a Master of Science degree in physiology from Pennsylvania State University. She is a long time member of AAHA, AVMA, PVMA and DVMA veterinary associations.

Dr. Brzezinski’s professional interests include internal, pediatric, and geriatric medicine. Outside work, she is involved in the local community and often speaks at local schools about careers in veterinary medicine. Dr. Brzezinski is originally from Bloomfield, N.J. She now resides with her husband and son in Media. Scoobie and Simba, her dogs, enjoy dual residence at both Aston Veterinary Hospital and her home. She enjoys shopping, gardening, and traveling. She also enjoys spending time at the Jersey Shore with family and friends.

Delaware County Veterinarian

Dr. Sara Kutney

Dr. Sara Kutney grew up in Wallingford, PA. She graduated from the University of Pennsylvania with a degree in biology, and then continued at Penn to earn her PhD in pharmacology in 2006 and VMD in 2011. Dr. Kutney joined Aston Veterinary Hospital in 2014 after practicing for several years in South Jersey, and is particularly interested in internal medicine and soft tissue surgery. She currently lives in Media with her husband, and enjoys traveling, reading, and biking in her free time.

Dr. Tracy Wu Woods

Dr. Tracy Wu Woods spent part of her childhood in North Carolina prior to growing up in Glen Mills, PA. She earned her undergraduate Biology degree from the University of Pittsburgh and went on to attend the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine to earn her VMD. During those years she also worked as a veterinary assistant in various veterinary fields including emergency, internal medicine, oncology, and large animal orthopedic research. Following graduation from vet school, Dr. Wu Woods completed a year long small animal rotating internship in medicine and surgery at Friendship Animal Hospital in Washington D.C.. She moved back to Philadelphia and worked as an emergency veterinarian prior to joining the Aston Veterinary Hospital team in 2017. She enjoys all aspects of small animal practice, with special interests in emergency medicine, dentistry and surgery. Dr. Wu Woods currently lives in Philadelphia with her husband, Dan, and their two crazy cats, Barbara and Shemalee. In her free time, she loves to travel, spend time with her family and friends, explore Philadelphia by bike, bake (especially French desserts), and to do anything to keep her creative side active.
