Certified Veterinarian Technicians

Lora D., C.V.T.

Lora has been a veterinary technician with Aston Veterinary Hospital since 1992. A graduate of Harcum College with a degree in veterinary technology, Lora has worked in the veterinary field since 1990. Lora is the mother of three teenagers and lives in Delaware County with her cat “Monty,” whom she rescued as a stray. joined the Animal Hospital of Dauphin County as a technician assistant in 2009. Angela studied business at Harrisburg Area Community College and biology at Lebanon Valley Community College. Angela’s professional interests include equine studies and small and large animal surgery. In her free time, Angela enjoys teaching riding lessons and attending horse shows. Angela has been married since 2008 and has three dogs (Chloe, Teak and Tyson), two cats (Mo and Cooper), and two horses (Willie and Mary Kae). joined the Animal Hospital of Dauphin County as a technician assistant in 2009. Mary Anne G., C.V.T.

Mary Anne graduated from Harcum Junior College with a degree in Veterinary Technology and began her career in central Pennsylvania in 1977. She has been a Certified Veterinary Technician since 1982 and has been at Aston Veterinary Hospital since 1984. Mary Anne is married with one son and has a yellow lab (Duke) and two cats (Taz and Rex). She enjoys chocolate! An interesting fact is that Mary Anne sat for the first exam ever given for veterinary technicians to be certified in Pennsylvania.

Kathy M., C.V.T.

Kathy has been a veterinary technician since 1986, and began working at Aston Veterinary Hospital in 1990. Kathy graduated from Harcum College with a degree in veterinary technology. She is married with one daughter, and has a dog (Henry), a guinea pig (Whiskers) and a goldfish (Rainbow). In her free time she enjoys golf, horseback riding, travel, spending time with family and friends. Kathy is also a Girl Scout troop leader.

Liza O., C.V.T.

Liza graduated from Harcum College’s veterinary technician program in 2008 and has been working at Aston Veterinary Hospital since 2007. Liza has a 17 year old cat, Zazoo, that she shares her home with.

Kristi C.

Kristi has been with Aston Veterinary Hospital since 1999. She is currently studying to obtain her degree in Business Accounting. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, cooking, shopping & traveling. Kristi and her husband Steven share their home with their dog, cats & parrots.

Karen S.

Karen is a retired local Chadds Ford Concordville horse trainer. She started work at our hospital in March 2016 after the birth of her second daughter. She grew up with Jack Russell terriers and currently lives in Brookhaven. joined our hospital in June 2012 and she has worked in the field for 5 years. She graduated from Hershey High in 2003. She lives with her husband and four dogs in Palmyra. Trax is a pitbull mix and is a trained protection dog that works with her husband Jared. The other three, Polar, Zara and Arya (the twins) are Cane Corsos. Zara and Arya are from the same litter and polar and the ‘twins’ have the same mother. In her spare time Heather loves to spend time with her little family doing things outdoors. One of their favorite pastimes is hiking in the woods with their dogs.joined our hospital in June 2012 and she has worked in the field for 5 years. She graduated from Hershey High in 2003.
